We have young enthusiastic guides and most passengers are between 18 and 35. Become part of the Why Not Bus family! This Tour has 1 night camping and 7 nights Hostel Mixed Dorm. This allows you to experience a little bit of everything.

    Extras

     – Accommodation and National park fees included; This Tour has 1 night camping and 7 nights Hostel Mixed Dorm.

    – Food; At the beginning of each trip we all put in $100 into a ‘food fund’. This is then used to buy ingredients that make up the delicious feasts we eat along the way. The overall food costs vary from trip to trip but you can expect to spend $10 a day for food. (Overall food costs for the trip may require a little extra to be added during the trip or some money refunded at the end)

    – Sleeping bag/ Mattress/tent; are provided or BYO gear just let us know so we don’t double pack 🙂

    Activities

    Sea Lion Boat Trip: Take a 2hr boat trip to the Jurien Bay Marine Park on Day 2 where you will snorkel and see the local sea Lion population ($125) *Why Not Bus Exclusive

    – Whale Shark Swim; An all day experience that includes swimming with these magnificent creatures, a warm-up reef snorkel and a delicious lunch for the cheapest price in town at $469 (Exmouth on day 9).

    – Ningaloo Manta Ray Tour; Spend an epic day at Ningaloo reef in coral bay on Day 6. snorkel the outer reef and later swim with 2-3m manta rays ($175)

    – Rent a Kayak; Paddle through the world Heritage eco systems of Shark bay and Ningaloo reef 

    -Snorkel Rental;  2 days snorkel rental in coral bay (Free)

    (All extra activities are operated by external suppliers and not by Why Not Bus)

    Itinerary

    Day 1 - Perth to Pinnacles

    Before we start our one of a kind Perth to Broome Tour, we set off to the local shops and stock up on food for our delicious home cooked meals. We then head north with our first stop along the way for a quick lunch. Enjoy the impressive views along Indian Ocean drive and then explore the pinnacles desert. A short drive brings us to our camp site where we kick back for the night. Watch the sunset with your new mates and enjoy a beer!

    Day 2 - Geraldton and the Pink Lake

    We head to the beach for the morning or optional Sea Lion Experience before heading towards Geraldton and then the spectacular Pink Lake for some rad photo ops! The campsite tonight is at the scenic lucky bay, walk the sand dunes or swim as the sun goes down. There is plenty of space at the campsite so time to turn the music up and let your hair down for the night.

    Day 3 - Kalbarri National Park

    Hit the road and see the Scenic Kalbarri cliffs before a quick swim and cold shower at the river mouth. Then explore the amazing Kalbarri National Park with a few hours of hiking to Nature’s Window and the Z Bend. In the late afternoon we hit the road to our overnight stop by the river.

    Day 4 - Shark Bay

    This Morning we drive into the World Heritage site of Shark Bay. Check out Shell Beach, relax and swim in the crystal clear water. It’s now time for a bit of luxury staying at Monkey Mia Dolphin resort. After dinner and an amazing sunset you can head down to the jetty and spot wildlife with your torch or kick back on the beach.

    Day 5 - Monkey Mia, Dolphins & drive to Coral bay

    Wake up and walk 50m down to the water’s edge, it’s time to meet the famous Monkey Mia Dolphins. If you are lucky you will get to feed flipper his scaly breakfast! We hit the road shortly after and drive 580kms to the incredible and remote beachside town of Coral Bay. Settle into the Hostel and head to the pub for dinner and drinks.

    Day 6 - Coral Bay

    There are now essentially one and a half free days to explore, Snorkel the amazing reef, (Optional Fishing charter, diving, Manta Ray tours) or just sit with your new friends on the beach and enjoy this special place. Usually, things will kick off pretty early and by late afternoon everyone is ready to blow off some steam and party up! Truth or Dare anyone? Our Hostel is 5 min walk from the beach and everything else in town. You will fall in love with this place the moment you arrive!

    Day 7 - Coral Bay and exmouth

    Today is a free morning to relax or explore Coral Bay. Snorkel at the beach or go for a walk to the Shark sanctuary.  In the afternoon we drive 2hrs to Exmouth and check out Charles Knife Canyon and sunset at the lighthouse. Check into Potshot Hostel/Bar for the next 2 nights.

    Day 8 - Cape Range National park, Whale Sharks, Ningaloo Reef

    Today we travel to the Cape Range National Park for a bit of hiking and a snorkel at the award winning Turquoise Bay. (Optional Whale Shark swim today) tonight have dinner and drinks at the famous Whalebone Brewery.

    Day 9 - Finish Tour in exmouth

    This morning say goodbye to your new friends as the bus leaves for Karijini. you can sleep in at the Potshot YHA hostel until checkout or catch a ride to Learmonth Airport in the Why Not Bus arriving around 7-8am
